Simple Computers 101 ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through simplecomputers101.com and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number, billing address and any details you include in a contact form, order, or support ticket.
- Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is entered on Stripe's secure page and is never stored on our servers. We keep only the card brand, last four digits and expiry date so you can recognize the card on file.
- Technical information — like most websites, our server records basic information such as your IP address and browser type for security and troubleshooting. We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and to remember your cart.
How we use your information
- To provide the services and products you order, including hosting, domain registration, repairs and installations.
- To send invoices, receipts, renewal reminders and service notices.
- To respond to your messages and support requests.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing spam.
Sharing
We share information only when needed to deliver your service — for example with Stripe to process payments, or with a domain registrar to register a domain in your name (domain registration requires owner contact details by rule of the domain registries). We may also disclose information when required by law.
Data retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
